We have a Site Technician \ Draftsman position to fill

We specialize in plans and specifications for soil characterizations leading to construction permits for wells, septic fields.

We have an interesting position for manual and hobbyists who like a challenge. We are looking for a multi-functional candidate, who can do both site work and computer-aided drafting, and write report summaries.

The candidate must have the following skills: be motivated to learn, punctual, rigorous, have attention to detail, have a good personality and be able to explain technical concepts to clients. Be logical, resourceful, and able to work with minimal supervision.

We are willing to train the candidate on all of our basic concepts. Surveying, Topographic surveys, Site and existing construction inspections, Computer-assisted drawing, reports, etc., and many other tasks related to septic tank, wells and soils, including the following:

• Soil characterization: Surveys, sampling,
• Inspection of septic field (digging with a round shovel and auger),
• Taking photos
• soil sample
• Taking surveys with a total station
• tape measure
• GPS Inspecting existing septic tanks
• Measuring reference points
• Making measurements supervisions of drillers, and or construction teams
• Calculate elevations
• Build inspection reports, write summaries
• Stimulating environment, competitive salaries, truck and equipment provided.
